Dell Releases WiFi Driver Update for X51/X51v

So even if I have installed Colorado update do you think i shoudl install this update, their website says it is only for the less than v models?

The QVGA update is for the 240x320 models, the VGA update is for the 480x640 models. You should install this update because it includes the "Colorado" update as well as other software updates.

My WLAN Utility shows the exact information as the first post. I just received a refurbished AXIM X51V from Dell today, so that mean that this patch was already installed at the factory. If not, how can we tell if it has or hasn't been installed?

Steve I just checked, I did the patch a couple of weeks ago and I get the same screen as the one in the first post, it seems dell has sent you the latest thing, enjoy! I think the way to tell is install ROM update and then driver roling patch and see if anything changes, hard reset both times though, so if it looks the same it might just be the same. Everything we fix doesn't need a bigger hammer.

I puchased my Axim 51v from Dell on Dec 30/07. Looking at the WLAN utility window on it all it shows is the utility version to be 1.0.0.2 with N/A in the other versions. Do I need to do this upgrade?

It can't hurt, the version number unfortunately does not change after the update.
