For her final thesis, Parsons School of Design student, Karen Lee, decided to update the boring WiFi detectors, making it a functional, wearable piece of art.

Using colored LED, the Hotspot Bloom is a plastic flower that lights up whenever you're close to a WiFi hotspot. No news yet on the availability of this for the general public though.
