No, this thing fits on the end of the external antenna of your wireless adapter. (Not that little stub on the Axim itself.) Some of the pictures on the site shows it attached to the adapter antenna.

If anyone's tried it or find some review on this, please post it here. I'm interested to see how well it works too. It sure would be nice to be able to surf while I'm in bed! Right now, I only get a weak signal. :lol:

I haven't tried this antenna add on, but I have tried different antennas for my D-link router. They do make a differance. CompUsa had a 4db d-link antenna in a past ad for $10 after rebate. I also picked up a pair of 5.5db antennas at Radio Shack for the d-link clearanced out at $10 a pair. I no longer need the range extender I installed in my home for connection. Though I added a 5.5db antenna to it also if I ever hook it up again. Brick or block design homes seem to effect any of the 2.5GHz signals as my cordless phone never worked as well as the older 800MHz model.
Try experimenting with different locations, antenna angles, channels (don't want to be on same channel as cordless phone or neighbors wifi, etc.) to increase your signal/connection.
