RESEARCHERS in the US say the systems exists to wirelessly bring music to every corner of the home. MIT Media Lab experts say wireless is much more than something to use when a wire won't work. It extends radio into lifts, basements and stairwells. Wireless can be unlicensed, personalised, digital and "below the noise floor". "It ought to be the way we interconnect everything," MIT Media Lab director and senior research scientist Andrew Lippman says.
