Independent telephone operator Peterstar intends to invest around USD 500,000 in a programme called World Wide Web City by the end of this year. According to Peterstar's general director, Viktor Koresh, the programme will see public Internet access points set up in cafes, stations, educational institutions and hotels. Koresh was unable to say when the project would break even. 'It is an investment in the future,' he said.
