Unfortunately T-Mobile does not appear to offer a CF card for this data plan.
As the Axim does not have a PC Card slot, we would be stuck using an awkward CF-> PC Card adapter.

Does anyone know if SprintPCS is going to do something like this? As it stands, I have the USB cable for my Sanyo phone that I can plug into my laptop. It's a so-so connection, but nothing to write home about. It'd be sweet if I could plug it into the Axim.

I think Sprint already has it. They're are one of the companies that started this unlimited access. You might want to give them a call.

Unfortunately, Sprint PCS seems to be charging $80 for unlimited data? (!)
I have unlimited data through Verizon at $75 for my laptop computer right now. It uses a 1xRTT PC Card modem. I can justify spending the $75 for my laptop as I use it all day at work.
However, spending $75 for my Axim would be a bit steep. I could definitely deal with the T-Mobile plan if it worked with the Axim. But once again -- they don't seem to offer a CF Card wireless modem.
Does anyone know of any alternatives for wireless internet that would work with the Axim and be less than $30 a month?

Yeah. Last I checked on their site, it was costly. For now, if I ever need it, I'll use my trusty USB cable and the SprintPCS Connection software to hop online w/ my laptop. Too bad it won't plug into my Axim.
