Welcome to Aximusers.com
Have you downloaded Adobe Acrobat reader for Mobile devices ?.
This can be downladed free from Abobe.com.
Version 2 is issued, you should be able to install this special version, but not the traditional PC version

Problems INSTALLING acrobat for PocketPC
Hi,
I've been trying for weeks now to install acrobat for my Axim X30 -- and it simply won't let me. I keep getting the message: 'AdbeRdr20_ppc_enu' is not a valid Pocket PC application.
No matter which version, new or old, I download, I cannot install the program.
How do I do this? I need to be able to read PDFs on my Axim!

You CANNOT install "exe" direct onto your Axim; you've to install from desktop via ActiveSync. Only "cab" can be installed direct from your Axim.

Is there any resolution to the installation and the operational problems with acrobat reader yet? I would like to install it on my refurbished unit 51v A12 ROM but am not so sure wether I should if I see all the problems that seemed to be involved (and I am not a PC wiz).
If yes anyone able to refer me to the right download site ?
Appreciate any input...

I was JUST able to download and install Adobe Acrobat v2.0 for PPC on my Axim.
I have ROM A12 and use Active Sync v4.10 (build 4841) Beta I believe.
As for a direct link to the download, try this.
Hopefully this helps. On the other hand you may want to back up your PDA to a SD card and then do a hard rest, and try installing again. If it fails, then restoer your data.

Adobe's Reader program had problems for me until I changed a couple of options. Check your settings compared to this:
Screen001.JPG
The print plugin, forms plugin, and reflow gave me hassle until I set them right. If you still don't like the program, there are alternatives but you have to pay for them.
One of them is Foxit Reader for Pocket PC and another is Orneta PDF Reader Mobile.
