Hey Guys,
Okay heres my problem I used the button press method to upgrade my axim x5 advance and now i get nothing but a dell lg when i turn it on. Ive tryed the hard reset and about every other option im at my wits end here i cant belive there is no way around this problem when the upgrade has worked for everyone else.
I followed the directions to a tee
1: downloaded file
2: extracted files
3: formated cf card (320mb micro-drive Maybee this is the problem?I have seen posts about micro drives its a ibm 340mb)
4: copied file to card
5: took out backup battery
6: removed and reinserted battery
7: did button sequence
8: it goes throught the whole process says ok after everything then it says that it is going to the operating system
then it boots up to the dell logo and just sits there and does nothing after hard rest is gives you the option to clear all memory or continue without clearing. ive tryed about 10 times im not sure what is wrong or if im doing something wrong HELP
could it be my microdrive causeing the problem????
