I just acquired an axim x50v. In my contacts in outlook I have several contact files, I would like to sync them all to my axim as I used to do with my Palm,( it syncs only the main contact file) it does not seem possible, any ways around this deficiency.

You're right. It's a deficiency. And no, you cannot sync more than the default folder with Activesync. However, what you're looking for can be found with Intellisync:
