So I've upgraded the OS and that worked, and the Sitecom CF modem works fine, and I've set up the VPN and that looks as if it works.
I tap on the '2 arrows pointing left and right' ikon at the top of the screen and tap on the VPN connection, and it dials up the ISP and then it says it's connecting the VPN, and then it says it's connected.
So I open Internet explorer and that works, but can't find my Exchange server. Then I click ob=n the 2 arrows again and it tells me that the VPN is disconnected.
Turns out that either opening Internet explorer or entering a page and tapping 'go' shuts down the VPN.
Any suggestions ?
and is there any way, in the absence of a 'cmd' to ping or otherwise check out the VPN ?
