help with IE setup under Pocketpc 2003

Hello
Can someone please tell me how to set IE under Pocketpc 2003 with a direct connection to the web?
What I seem to be able to do is configure a VPN,Proxy or a modem, but is there a way to tell it to auto configure.

Please let me know how your are trying to connect to the internet, via ActiveSync, wireless connection, etc. It makes a difference.

In ActiveSync on your PC, click Tools - Options. Then click the rules tab. Make sure that the PassThrough settings are set to Internet. That would be the first place to start.
