You have to call Dell to get the upgrade, and yes you do have to pay $29 for it.

To add on top of RommelS statement. Although you may have heard that it's on backorder. They ARE shipping now, so call dell, get your order in, and your upgrade should be on it's way soon.

I don't understand, I thought the update was for something Dell srewed up, and hasn't it been available to download? Why wouldn't it be free?
Maybe I'm thinking about a completly different thing.
