I heard that people who lives in Asia would not get the PPC 2003 upgrade .....is that true?. wow poor them?. But if they do get the upgrade ..when would they get them?

DC ...it takes time for the new OS upgrade to come out, except if you've purchase a new device.
For instance, I'm waiting for three upgrades, my iPaq 5455 (pushed back until August), T-mobile, and for my Dell, and I'm sure Asia will get them.

DC ...no one can say exactly when they'll come out. That is up to the OEMs ...like I said, they have to work the OS to their devices.

Rommel/DC, about a month ago I upgraded all my desktop pc MS software and decide to see if PocketPC2003 was available. The MS website listed a number of OEM's that were offering upgrades to PPC03, Dell among them. Went to Dell Support, and found nary a reference as to how to upgrade. Does anyone know the correct procedure to upgrade to PPC03 (aside from buying a new PDA)?

For some reason, OEMs do not post the instructions on the web.
When you do upgrade, you will be instructed to follow the steps provided by the installation. Unfortunately, that is the extent of the instructions - they're simple, but has to be followed by the letters.

Hey
I have Pre-Ordered my upgrade from dell, told it should ship second week of Aug.
Was not able to order from the web though, you have to call customer care and phone order the software pack. The website isn't built for the upgrade yet
