Casio Releases New Pocket PC in Japan

A new Pocket PC handheld from Casio is now available in retail stores in Japan.

The E-3000 uses a 400 MHz XScale processor. This is the new PXA255, with the faster bus. It has 64 MB of RAM. and 32 MB of ROM. Its 16-bit color, 3.5 inch, TFT screen is the Pocket PC standard 240 by 320 pixels. It has a D-pad on the front and Up/Down buttons on the left side. It includes both a CompactFlash Type II slot and an SD/MMC slot one. It does not support SDIO.
