Pocket Informant Rev 5 is Released

CEDAR PARK, Texas – April 17, 2006 – Web Information Solutions, Inc. - a leading provider of professional applications for the mobile and desktop markets is proud to present the release of the long awaited, award winning (and we have the glass and paper to prove it) Pocket Informant 2005 Rev 5 for Windows Mobile 2002, 2003/SE, and 5. Many improvements have been made to the most used third party PIM on the Pocket PC taken from user feedback and long standing requests. Our software development thrives on the feedback of our users and we get no shortage of that. We have a very active and thriving community of users which numbers near the mid six-digits and we're very proud of that.

As usual, the list of enhancements is too long to discuss here but here is a small sampling:

• Display 1-3 days in Day View simultaneously
• Secondary Task Sort added to Calendar View
• Custom Display/Hide/Combine of View Tabs to make the tabs bigger and also hide unused views
• Redesigned TLV display with new per project stats and a more user friendly view
• Redesigned dialogs to allow better keyboard usage
• Full Screen mode

We've also made literally tens of improvements to existing features that include very small, but productivity enhancing improvements like adding a "Create Journal" menu item to the tap/hold menu of Appt/Tasks/Contacts which means you no longer have to go to the editors to add a journal item. Or the new bar styles for Month and Project View which use your existing Work Hours to give you greater depth into your schedule. There are just so many little changes in the user interface and commands designed to make working with Pocket Informant faster, more intutive and customizable.

Pocket Informant 2005 Rev 5 is $24.95 and a is a free upgrade for all current Pocket Informant 2005 owners. We have been working on Pocket Informant 2007 and all purchases of Pocket Informant 2005 made after April 1st will receive Pocket Informant 2007 for free.
