FlexMail 2006
After a year of development, testing, and thousands of hours of engineering we have finally released the successor to WebIS Mail 2.11: FlexMail 2006. This is a
free upgrade for all WebIS Mail customers. Why change the name? For a variety of reasons including the fact that WebIS Mail was a confusing name to many and with our recent purchase of FlexWallet 2006 a name change seemed appropriate.
FlexMail 2006 offers many major and minor improvements over WebIS Mail 2.11. These include:
- Full Windows Mobile 5 support
- Square Screen support
- Integrated Spell Checker from Phatware, Inc.
- Integrated with Pocket Informant for editing contacts and creating tasks/appts from an email
- Immediate Send Option
- POP3/IMAP4 Fast Check
- Automatic BCC support
- Read/Delivery Receipt support
When we first released FlexMail 2006 we had some unreproducible SMS crash issues, but we released two updates quickly which fixed those so if you are running a build of FlexMail earlier than 575, we urge you to get the latest build. Please note that your serial number from @Mail 1.0-WebIS Mail 2.11 will work with FlexMail 2006. FlexMail 2006 is for Windows Mobile 2003, 2003SE, and 5 Pocket PCs only. It is not compatible with Pocket PC 2002 devices nor non-touch screen capable SmartPhones.

WebIS Mobile Sync for Plaxo
WebIS Mobile Sync is the only over-the-air synching tool for the Pocket PC that works with the Plaxo service to allow others to keep their contact info up to date.
Using our profiles feature, you can sync two different Plaxo accounts to keep your work and home addressbook separate!
Mobile Sync is a Plaxo™ service client and provides a fully connected Address Book. We just released this product at the same time we released FlexMail 2006 and we thought as a connected user you might want to know about.

Upcoming updates
We are currently running release candidate/final beta testing on FlexWallet 2006, Pocket Informant 2005 Rev 5, WebIS Money 2.2, as well as minor functionality updates for Mobile Sync for Plaxo. We are also in mid-work of Journal Sync 2.0 which will support Windows Mobile 5. As you can see we've got a ton coming up soon and we will be sending a full newsletter to all of our customers at that time.
In the next week we'll be releasing WebIS Toolbox 3.1 which adds appointment/task duplicate removers, vCard importers, Default Contact Number filters, and many improvements for Square Screen and one handed use.
