It has been known for some time that HP plans to release the iPAQ hx2000 series this fall. However, until now, the details of some of the models in this series have been quite sketchy.

Much more information is now available about these upcoming handhelds because PDAgold.com was leaked the full specifications on all three models in the hx2000 series.

All of these will have a great deal in common. They will all run Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition and have 240-by-320-pixel (QVGA) displays.

The hx2000 series models will have both a CompactFlash Type II and an SD/MMC/SDIO slot.
