You've just landed in a strange city. You're walking around town and want to know if there are any WiFi access points available. Pull out your Pocket PC and start up the freeware application WiFiFoFum. Up pops a list of nearby hot spots, their identity and relative signal strength.

This program is pretty sweet! I've just tried it out and picked up 3 hotspots in my neighborhood. I'm pretty impressed with how quickly it picks them up. I can't say the the radar is accurate, but it is still pretty awesome.

I agree this is a great program. What is the radius of the scan?

Not sure, I do alot of driving for my job and had this running the other day while going through South Bend, IN. The alert was going off every few seconds, but when i look at the log, it only shows a few seconds in the "Last Seen" column. Keep in mind this is while i was driving, so i'll say maybe 300ft-ish...
