CAMBRIDGE, MA - Bitstream Inc. announced today the availability of version 1.09 of ThunderHawk, its wireless Web browsing technology. This release makes it possible to render downloaded pages twice as fast as in previous releases, enhances the online installation process to allow for storage on a storage card, and adds support for the new Toshiba e750 and e755 Pocket PCs. ThunderHawk 1.09 also permits IP addresses of client machines to pass through ThunderHawk proxy servers, for functions like inventory tracking that use IP addresses to determine how to select data for presentation on the mobile device.
