Successor to Pocket PC 2002 - Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC - repeats the same error as predecessor - it has no battery monitor icon in title bar. You may ask yourself how this story relates to cell phones - the main topic of msmobiles.com? Well, in Pocket PC phones knowing the state of the battery is much more important, than in say, regular non-wireless PDAs, because if we forget to charge the battery, for example during reading some longer eBook, it may end with "no more phone calls"... That´s why this problem is so vital to cell phones running Pocket PC software. There is however a solution to this problem, that evaded our attention.
