Dell to Release Wireless Handheld Next Year

Dell and Good Technologies have announced a partnership that will eventually lead to the two collaborating on wireless handhelds.
A statement released today said the two were "exploring reference designs for next-generation handheld devices and services to make wireless email and data access easy and affordable." CNET was able to be more specific. It quotes John Medica, senior vice president of Dell's Product Group, saying that they were working on a Pocket PC that can access 2.5G cellular networks and use the GoodLink email server software. They hope to have this on the market by next year.
