HP Preparing iPAQ 5500 Series

Hewlett Packard is putting the finishing touches on a new high-end iPAQ model, according to PocketPcItalia.com. This will be an updated version of the h5450 to be called the h5550.
Reportedly, this model will use the new PXA255 XScale processor running at 400 MHz. The PXA250 used in the current h5400 series is also 400 MHz but the new version offers a faster memory bus leading to improved real-world performance. It also uses the less power. The h5450 will make the jump from 64 MB of RAM to 128 MB of RAM. It will include 48 MB of ROM.
