Search tool

Are there any tools for Windows Mobile 5 that can search inside files or databases, including including contacts, notes, etc. Something like what is available in Palm OS. The list of occurences should appear and that I should should be able to open it, be it contacts or notes. I think many users would want to be able to do this for a PDA to be really useful.

At first I used a little program called PPCFinder, which may have been free. Then, I purchased Total Commander, a complete file management program (better than File Explorer!) that also included an advanced search function, so I only use it now.

Welcome limec, I saw this and downloaded PPCfinder and had a play with it, and for a freebie, it's very functional and the right price, I thought I'd test it and was so impressed I didn't uninstall. There is also a lot of other apps at this link
