Axim x30 - locked files

I am receiving the message when I boot up my laptop with my PDA connected "Cannot access storage file or backup storage file. These files have been locked by another process. Please unlock the files or choose another backup file path and file name".

I do not know how to unlock the files (or what files?) or how to choose another file path and file name!

I am,hopefully, in the process of using EXCEL for a brief financial statement that I will update from time to time and carry with me when I travel.

Hi Sam-

Is the error you're getting from ActiveSync or is it a general Windows error? Can you post a screenshot or the verbatim title bar message and error body? It sounds like a file is starting up with Windows and another program is trying to move/change it or it could be a software bug. What version of ActiveSync are you running?
