How do I change the properties of start up ICON?

I had a program installed on a CF flash. I copied it to a new SD and executing
it works fine. I want to know how I can change the properties of the icon
in the start page so it will point to the new location of the SD memory.

thanks
Ken

I figure a way to do this

After syncing with my desktop I went in and coped the
Windows\StartMenu\Programs file for the program I wanted to change.
From my desktop I opened it in notebook and changed the CF
to SD at the beginning of the line. I then copied it back to
the Axim and it worked.

There must be a cleaner way of doing this. Like just from the Axim only.

Unfortunately, you can't change shortcut path properties using the File Explorer included with WM5. It requires a third party explorer such as Resco File Explorer to do it without xferring to desktop.

There might be freeware third party explorers available that accomplish the task.

changing shortcut properties

that's to bad. The way I did, by copying it to my desktop and edit it
with notepad, then copy back worked but not as easy as it should be.

This also works if you need to create a shortcut

I installed a program for some reason did not create an icon in the START menu.
After syncing, I went into my SD card and right clicked the program to create
a shortcut. Then I copied the shortcut to Windows\StartMenu\Programs
It worked.
