Want a better Calendar program!

I recently got a new Axim x51v, upgrading from the ancient Jornada I had inherited from my sister, and I've been very pleased with it's performance. Only a few things bug me. One of my biggest gripes is that, apparently, nothing has been done to spruce up the interface of the calendar program in Windows Mobile 5. It looks identical to the calendar program in my Jornada from the stone ages! I really like the look of the calendars in Outlook 2007, and features like being able to color code categories of events and tasks on my calendar. I wish my calendar on the axim could have similar features and a less clunky look. Anyone know of a third party plug-in which will at least let me color code different events and catagories?

I believe Pocket Informant (look right) does color coding. Check its screenshots to see if it's what you're looking for.

Does PI synchronize with desktop calendar

A potentially better calendar interface is definitely welcomed. However, does Pocket Informant synchronize to a calendar software on my computer - either Outlook or its own version?

Also, I have downloaded the software on to my Dell Axim 51, but when I attempt to open the file, a warning pops up saying the software is unrecognizable & downloading would harm my device. This is my first PDA or PPC ever, so am still learning & wary about such bold statements. Is this just a typical warning that can be ignored? Is there a more appropriate way of installing software?

Thanks.

Thanks, Mahstah, Pocket Informant is what I was looking for, more or less. Not perfect, but close enough At least I was able to make and use my own moon phase icons!

Drizzleweed, I'm fairly certain that warning can be ignored. But check with one of the gurus around here to be sure

If the download file is .exe it should be downloaded and run on your pc. It would then install via sync with your ppc.
