My Axim is saying "A problem has occurred with shell32.exe", what is this? And is this a big problem? What do I do?

I hope you have recently backed up your Axim .

I think the best thing to do is a hard reset ( press and hold power, and whilst doing so press reset)

Is there a way to keep ActiveSync from always being a program that is running besides the time you want it to when it is connected to your computer? As well as what type of files can The Axim X51V use for videos (e.g. wma's? mpg's?)
