All to funny.....
I'm not a M$ hater nor am I a supporter, however the fact that M$ has announced WM6 pretty much seals the fate of WM5.
While some folks find some use for PPC toys, it seems that others just give up and ether: 1) get a Palm, 2) tablet PC, 3) small laptop or 4) go back to analog.
Personally, I've found the extended calculator(s) and measurement converters, being able to do a 'slide show' of photos on a VGA screen, amuse myself with games, surf for a few minutes on open access points while waiting in the DR's office and even keeping track of billable hours to charge customers on my PPC to be useful.
All but the slideshow and surfing could be done on my 33Mhz Palm505. (technically the slide show would work, just not look very good)
All of the above I could (in theory) do on my 150Mhz PPC2000 E125.
Maybe the 2Ghz 512MB WM8 devices will be more useful?
Then again, my OLD P1 100Mhz/48MB/2GB/VGA/98SE laptop can do more and is more reliable then my 624Mhz/64MB/2GB/VGA/WM5 PPC ever will be.
(however, it just won't fit into my pocket)
