Encrypting files / memory cards

One of the problems I find with Mobile 5 is lack of security for data on flash cards. If I lose my PDA or lose the cards then anyone can read the data.

What recommended encryption software is available to plug this security loophole?

Resco Explorer, an alternative to the standard file explorer, has a right click (tap and hold) encryption ability. It goes up to 256 bit AES and is very simple. Choose encrypt then assign a password, when you want to open the file it asks for a password and you can use it again.

I have a supplementary question. Do either of these products have as part of their solution the ability to encrypt/decrypt the memory cards using a Windows PC too? The point being that once encrypted, I'd like to be able to to chose whether to decrypt using either the PDA or Windows (and vice versa).

Resco Explorer includes a desktop shell extension for encryption/decryption from the desktop. See http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/indepth.asp.

Resco Explorer also has mapped drive availability within it as well. This allows you to explore any mapped drived that are available on the network as well.
