TI 83 rom?

How do I load a TI 83 se rom into my pda ?I went to the TI site and tried to follow their instructions but no luck.The emulator for the TI 83 Silver Edition won't install. I get an error "eviolation" or something. The other emulator loads fine but doesn't support the silver edition.Then how do you load the rom into the calculator and the pda.

Unless the rom is specifically written for the machine you are trying to load it on, it will not work.

You cannot load a Ti Rom on an axim, nor would you want to as if you suceeded, your axim is likely never to work again as the ROM will be configured for different hardware.

You may need to "massage" the ROM file using VTI on your desktop computer before loading it into the emulator on the Axim.

From the Freewareppc download page for it (sorry for their embedded links):

"NOTE:
There is a bug that in some cases doesn't allow the TI85 rom to function, all you need to do is with the VTI in the Desktop PC create a .sav file from the TI85 rom (just use the rom and right click "Exit and save state"), then copy this file to the Pocket PC with the same name that has the TI85 rom file."

You may need to do something similar to your TI-83 ROM.

The emulator is not certified compatible with Windows Mobile 5 but it might work fine.

I've yet to be able to successfully use the rom dump to get a ROM from my TI-83 to use...anyone have a suggestion?
