AOL 2.0.55 soft buttons block SEND button

I recently purchased the X51V and when I tried to access aol.com it said I didn't have the proper browser. After awhile I stumbled across www.classic.webmail.aol.com. From there I can receive and send from my aol account. I also discovered that when I go to www.mobile.aol.com that I get a listing of aol links but when I click on EMAIL nothing happens. When I clicked on IM my sign in page would come up but nothing happened when I put in my ID and PW. All the other links work ok. I downloaded the mobile AIM from the UK AOL site. It is free and works good.(After further experience with the UK AIK I have to change my "it works good" comment....it only works sometime)

I use the same aol program for my pocketpc. I don't have an axim, but you seem to have the same sucky problems. you can send emails. you just need to learn some of aol's keyboard shortcuts. after typing an email, I click on my touchscreen keyboard CONTROL + ENTER and the email is sent. the only problem I find with aol is that after opening an email, I can't switch to my buddy list or IMs without closing and reopening the program.

Hi, I've been trying to figure out if I could send & recv e-mail over my AOL account on a X51V if I were to buy one and see thet it is somewhat of a problem, but this seems to work, at least when I try it from my desktop. Can you use it on your Axim? Hope this is a solution for you and for me too! Look forward to hearing how it works. Thanks.

I was going to tell you, you can just use ths messaging program in the axim, mines works with my router and isp, you just follow the setup and there you go.

Now all of a sudden my aol will not send mail but it does receive mail but then it gives the warning 'unable to download attachments' and then 'unable to send email check that unit is connected and setup correctly'

What gives?

Control enter didn't work for me. What I am missing to send is the send button. I can get mail but cannot send.I can't get my home mail going either, same thing receive mail but cannot send. ..its an conspiracy...LOL!! I tried writing to AOL to ask if they have anything in the works that would work on Windows 5 I got nowhere! I also can't get my buddy list up! So no chatting if I should want to, they will have to just meet me on MSN chat. My hotmail is working great though. It came with the V51.
