front end for car use?

hi recently i have bougt tft 8", vga cable and the famous thinkoutside mousse blutooth. so i want to use my pda for make multimedia station but does it exist a front end for car ? a little application with big short link wich can lunch your favorite gps and another with a player for mp3 with big short link to have more facility for car use because the tcpmp have little short link to play pause and into car use it will be dangerous. thanks

If you mean you want big icons to launch programs, Pocket Plus has it. Is this what you mean by big short link?

You might want to check out the true VGA hack for VGA PPCs if you're going to use a larger screen.

Edit: The VGA hack I linked to above is for WM5 devices. If you're using WM2003SE, you can use this freeware program to switch to true VGA.

According to their site, the drivesoft hardware and software plays mp3s, video, has GPS navigation, plays TV, and plays XM radio. The Axim can do all of those things using a combination of free and pay software and hardware add-ons.

You can play mp3s and video with free software. You can play XM radio if your phone has broadband and compatible Bluetooth. The Axim has lots of GPS options, and SD/CF TV tuner cards are available.

In other words, you can do everything drivesoft can using the right software and hardware with the Axim.

so i have use an exemple with drivesoft, i know the axim aren't able to do the same, but i just want a software same as drivesoft for the presentation, wich be able to lanch tomtom when we click to gps icon, or when we click to mp3 i want to be able to have big icone into the player same as drivesoft, big icone to facilit the navigation when we driving that all ! thanks for all

There's an often overlooked hard button on Pocket PCs, the home button (shaped like a house, lower right).

Hit the home button and you have large shortcuts to commonly used programs. The whole thing is customizable and you can make your own collection of shortcuts, 8 or 9 large shortcuts to a screen depending on whether you use landscape or portrait mode. That should be perfect for your usage.

BTW, have you gotten the external touchscreen to work with the Axim yet?

first : yes it's a good solution the home button, sometimes the solution is near your eyes... but can we personalise the totality of home button or does it exist a software same as the home button which be all personalisable ?

second : for the external touschscreen first moment i will use a bluetooth mousse, later i will use the usb host by ratoc and i will be able to use the touschscreen function of my screen

so i have little problem, i can play video music and much other in full screen but when i start tomtom it does not work in full screen ! do you have any solution?
