i haven't try the true vga hack for this moment because i can't download anything, so to load this page i take 2minute... imagine to download something.. i have called 4 time my operator, and they said : please wait ! :\

hi i give some news !! so i have try the two software but it doesn't resolved my probleme because tomtom doesn't want to run in full screen it run in portrait mode on the 8" screen and use only a little part of the screen. do you have any solution?

TomTom, like most PPC applications, might be programmed to display at a specific resolution. What resolution are you using on your 8" TFT? Are you using the 480x640 true VGA hack on your Axim? Also, are you sure you have the X50v and not the X50, because your screenshot posted above is 240x320 and not 480x640. Below you will see what a true 480x640 screenshot looks like when attached in a post.

To answer your previous question, I use Pocket Plus to display today screen shortcuts like TomTom. See the shortcut in the screenshot I use below.

yes i'm sure which i have a x50v because my version is in french and the pictures is an exemple to have a short link same as tomtom. So the resolution of the hami is 800 600 and i have try to use my tomtom with and without true hack. without true hack tomtom start, and without it doesn't start.

and the X50 doesn't have a vga out

Hi i've got some great news !! Navigon 5 works perfectly with the VGA out !! it's great !!! my project make some times because i'm medic student , but i post some great photos :



this test have been passed with navigon 5.6 and it's work ! i'm waiting for hollydays to integrate my screen on my car
