Program is gone but icon still there

OK, so I'm not the sharpest tack in the box. I loaded PocketPC Expense from Microsoft onto my X3i, thinking free from Microsoft must be OK. The 'Microsoft does not support this product' warnings should have been a clue. I then had to download the VBRuntime (since it is a PocketPC2002 app). When I finally got everything installed, I had a 'PocketPC Expense' and a 'PocketPC Expense(2)' icon in my Program list. I tried the app, hated it, then unloaded it through the Remove Programs app. Unfortunately, 'PocketPC Expense(2)' is still there and I have no clue how to remove it.

1) How do I remove a Program Icon that points to nothing?

2) Does anyone know of a good expense app that's not outrageously expensive?

Okay, this post must have still been in the active threads menu when you posted this. I really dont want to sound angry or anything but you can answer a lot of your questions by searching through the archives.

Actually, being new to this site and excited about my new Axim X3i, I was just joyously looking for new software and had a simple question. I will certainly search the archives in the future for answers to my questions.

Now, for the second part of my post:

If anyone has any opinions on a good, inexpensive expense package, I would like to hear them.

Just go to the search link on the top of any page in the whole site and you can search through all of the old posts. Sry I dont use any such software odmonk but if your new you may want to check out freewareppc There is no risk because everything is free!

Although most titles must be purchased, i've gotten my best apps at handango. Both are excellent sites for the latest in PPC apps!
