Running Programs off CF Card

To make some room, I moved some programs over to my CF card, but I don't know how to make shortcuts to those programs.

Can you run a program off of your CF card?

You can run programs off cf cards, but it is best to uninstall the program and reinstall through activesync (press no when it asks install to default directory and choose the storage card you want to put it on)
Some programs won't run off a storage card but most will work fine.
I suppose you can make shortcuts by copying the executable file from its folder with file explorer and "paste shortcut" in destination folder (windows, start menu, programs) but I'm not even sure if that will work great.
