Yet another update from Resco-net product line, and this time, Keyboard Pro was updated and released last January 28th.

Resco Keyboard Pro is a powerful input method. It gives you the ability to write texts and control your applications faster than ever before. In addition to the system keyboard, there are three numeric layouts, including a "Writing Calculator" for typing numbers or numerical expressions. In addition, there is a special keyboard that allows you to customize your Pocket PC for fast insertion of frequently used phrases. The keyboard is fully skin able and supports more than 20 national keyboard layouts.
Installation
Resco-Net offers two type of installation, installation through ActiveSync or CAB file. It is nice to know that they’re offering CAB files for installation because this gives you the ability to download (if available) and install it at the same time while your device is wirelessly connected.
Features
For an input utility, this one comes packed with features, and all these features can be configured under Input in Settings (Start > Setting > Input).
Skins
The utility comes with a default skin, but you’ll be able to download three additional skins from Resco-net’s website.
Keyboard Layout
The keyboard can be set with two different languages, a primary and a secondary language, but the utility gives the user the ability to write in more than 20 different languages.
Gesture
The gesture feature makes this utility easier to use. For instance, you may capitalize a letter by tapping on a key and doing an UP stroke gesture – saving you time from tapping on the shift key.
Numeric Layouts
This is the first input utility that I’ve used that allows the user to switch from keyboard to calculator to numeric keypad layout. This is definitely a plus, especially if you crunch lots of numbers or write down numerical expression on your PDA.
Fx (Frequently Use Phrase)
Another plus, you can set 12 different frequently use phrase in this utility and access them by tapping on the Fx Key. You may also use all twelve by entering website addresses.
Wish List
I wish that the next version of Keyboard Pro doubles its Fx entries - the more the better.
Conclusion
I’ve used other keyboard utility before I tried Resco-Net’s Keyboard Pro, and I found some of its features are shared by the same type of input utility, but its ability to switch layouts, write numerical expression, and its Fx (Frequently Use Phrase) feature sets its apart from the rest. Keyboard Pro is another highly recommended product from Resco-Net.
