Idaho Falls, Idaho .... Just an hour away from Jackson Hole, Yellowstone and 1.5 hrs from Sun Valley. It's a great place to live!

How far is Idaho Falls from Boise? And what's it like out there, really? My wife and I have been thinking about moving for a short time 1-4 years, and Boise was one of the cities that were on the list.
I met some guys from Boise when I was out at Moab a few years ago. They said it was awesome. They said, "Silicon Valley meets the Old West!"
Is that true?

My favorite is New Hampshire: "Live Free or Die". They don't even mess around with the Latin, they just lay it out there.

You should take the survey at http://www.findyourspot.com. I take it every 6-8 weeks, and so far the top three have always been the same: Chattanooga, TN, Asheville, NC, and Greenville, SC. Marysville, TN gets in there sometimes, and so does Knoxville, TN.
I take it over and over because I want to see if my preferences change over time, and how that affects the selection. Fun site, though.
Guess I should be saying "Go Vols!!" instead of "Go Blue!".

Here's one that will make you shiver..............
Fergus Falls MN
It was -14 degrees below zero last night. As they say, it keeps the riff raff out, and in the summertime, with all the lakes, it's heaven.
