Best way to extract .cab from .msi file

Sorry came across a post today where a .cab file would fix the problem and the best answer would be to extract the cab from the microsoft installer, and I couldn't find the way to do it. Although I think I have read a way to do it, with winrar? I'm not sure just fishing!

Yes, WinRar works to extract the files from an msi. There is also a good free tool called Less MSIérables that will allow you to select files inside an msi and extract them.
