Can't even PING my PC!!

Hai guys....I hope you can help me. I bought a new computer and i try to use PING at my computer but it said "Ping is not recognized as internel and external command, operable program or batch file" i also try to type in 'tracet', 'ipconfig' and all and i get the same message. can u guys help me?

Are you trying to ping the old desktop PC from the new desktop PC? If ping/ipconfig/tracert (not tracet) are not recognized as internal commands, you are missing path entries in your environment variables. See Experts Exchange for resolution suggestions.

yeah thanks for the 'correcting my spelling' Mahstah. That’s the consequences of typing too fast too furious: P. this forum had solve my problem. couldn’t believe my OO Programming class was the misfortune of it all. For those who is interested, or have the same problem:
