Screen Names!

my screen name is the result of my frustration at trying to use my real name over and over again for various things on the net only to find that someone else has already used it. then the suggestions those services give for making it unique (adding numbers) results in (you guessed it) more logins that have already been taken.

so now I tempt fate. One day I'll find a site where this screen name is already taken, I'm sure of it. on that day I'll start using actual globally unique id codes. I'm sure that will go over really well.

Nothing that special here. There was a wrestler named Scotty 2 Hotty. Mine name is Scott, and some of the fellas I used to work with started calling me 2 Hotty. A few of my friends heard it, and it was over from there.

Some of my buddies still call me 2_hotty.

An ex of mine asked if i had named "something" ..and i said no, but if i did id call it "Nigel"

since my memory is NOT infallible, i chose simple things. my nickname for years was "davo" (my name is david, and some idiot started davo about the time the band Devo was popular) and 5674 is my birth year and high school graduation year. nothing juicy here gang!

nothing special really. I've had to come up with so many "screen names", "handles", "user IDs", etc. I play alot of 1st person shooters online and i really like how Starscream is put together. Plus growing up i really dug transformers, jets, and "the bad guy". So encompassing all those things, Starscream is just bada**. Its not too original I understand, but it fits.

I run a Norwegian web-page called www.topdogs.no and that makes me the TopDog :-)

Sometimes I go by the nick Goatie (rewrite of my real name, Gaute)
