...and I decided I'd try and take as many photos as possible. I didn't pay for a pass, and the official shindig starts this evening at 4pm or 5pm EST.

The original racing GT measured 40 inches from pavement to roof.

Wow, awesome trivia! I'm an ass for NOT bringing my camera to work today... there are TONS of private folks here who have their cars as part of the "show".

I'll bring it Monday and do my best taking shots. I also want to check out all the real old cars, the Model Ts, etc.

I must admit, that a large number of those points should go to my favorite researcher, Google.

However..........it DID take several refinements and a good deal of reading (not to mention overcoming my biggest problem when I go googling.........getting side-tracked!) before I came up with the answer. Easily a good 45 minute search.

I've always loved trivia questions and now me & Google spend a lot of time together learning way much more trivial stuff (about things I haven't the foggiest idea what I should even start looking for) than I really need to know. :blink:

CURSE the Google SearchBar!!!! :shifty:

(but it's a proven fact that if you don't exercise your brain
.........it'll melt into gunky globs at the base of your skull
and make swishing noises when you ride a roller coaster!!)
