Looking for eVB 3.0
I am looking for a copy of eMbedded Visual Tools with VB.
I think it is Version 3.
MS only now have Version 4 and that is stricly for C++
I have tried it but horribly confused with C++

Thanks Pedah, I search the forums a few times but could not find any reference to locations where eMbedded Visual Tools 3 could be downloaded.
I am really looking for a way to code for my X30. I have tried eVC4 but I do not understand C++ and I think the learning curve would be very steep doing all on your own.
I am very use to VB1 to V6 and been using VB since 1991 so quite compenent with it so was hoping that eVB3 would be close but the real problem is that I am 6 years to late for the party as everyone is really developing for all the latest and greatest devices in WM5 and WM6 so WM2003 is out in the cold.
Looking at several forums devoted to WM2003 devices and coding have very little traffic in them.
I have also tried BasicePPC demo but it does not seem to be a full developing package where one can code, compile and create CAB and installation files as it requires various additional programs.
I have looked at PPL and again quite difficult to do everything.
What I am really after to start with a an app that will allow coding for a X30 (WM2003SE), create the CAB and installation files. Main use of coding will be to talk to my Dell Bluetooth GPS device.
SO if there are any helpers for can give an insite then I would be greatful.

Sean, I think the best place to find a lot of dev's dealing with windows mobile of all flavours is xda developers, this forum is the biggest source of freeware and tweaks, produced by forum members. Probably the best place to ask for help wth development issues , Hope you find what you need!

Thanks, went there though there were posts about eVB there were no pointers to a download, though I did find what the actual file name was called, then using Google I then found a web site that has this file in one of it's direcrtories.
So thanks for pointing to a forum where I did finally managed to get what I wanted.
