E-mail problem with Axim

When e-mailing from Axim using contact list or entering addresses manually I get single quotation marks on both sides of the address ( 'anyone@help.com' ). To send I have to delete these from the address in the Outlook outbox on the PC to avoid errors sending. Any ideas appreciated.

The contacts were imported from Outlook Express 6 into Outlook 2002 and synced to the Axim thru ActiveSync 3.5.

Check your MS Outlook Contacts folder
Open one of your contacts, and look at the E-mail field. The email address might have the single quetation marks that you're referring to. If it does have it, you will have to delete them from every single contacts that you have. Re-sync your device once you're done

Checked contacts in Outlook and they are normal and require no editing to correctly e-mail.
