Have you tried using Windows Media Encoder, and converting your files to WMV? I convert full length DVD movies to WMV format without any problems.

I have used it too and it works really well, just takes a while to convert. I think it is almost a 1:1 ratio, so if it is a 2 hour movie it will take about 2 hours to convert it...at least in my experience.
Also go here to read about it and download it. It's a freebie!

You should go into Start/Settings/System. Tap on Power, then go to the Processor Tab.
Make sure that your processor is set to normal. The default setting is Auto. This will change your processor speed from 400Mhz to 200Mhz depending on the system status. This will slow down video to your system. By setting it to normal, you will always be running at 400Mhz.

I have tried other methods that didn't work so well. You mentioned that you have converted full length DVS ... what did you use to rip them, and what settings did you use?
Thanks for your help

You need Windows Media Encoder 9, and a capture device that will connect to your PC and DVD.
You have to tweak the bit rate and sound quality to make it fit in a storage card, and don't forget how long the movie is.

I think I get it now. You capture the feed live as it is playing from the device. I'll give it a shot and post my results later this week.
Thanks for the help. Rommel. You're the best.

AximMark ...Thanks.
I wouldn't capture the feed right away. I prefer to archive the movie to the best quality that Windows Media Encoder have. Then from that archive, then convert the movie to a Pocket PC format.
The reason why I do this because if something happens while you're capturing the file, then you have to work with your DVD hard, but if you have the movie in your PC, then you don't have to deal with the DVD.
