I saw an icon on the task bar at the top of my friends Axim today that I had never seen before. It was to the left of the volume icon, that is next to the clock. It was shaped like a Bubble text thing you would see in the comics.
When he tapped it, it did nothing. We did a soft reset and it disappeared.
Anyone know what this is???

Does your friend's Axim has Omega One's Battery Pack or other application that runs on the Today Screen that could have caused it?

It's a critical message icon. It pops up when your battery is low, things like that.

2_Hotty is right. When you mentioned the bubble text that you see in the comic, the first thing that came to mind was the battery notification from OmegaOne Battery Pack because the notification does look like a bubble text that comes from comic books.

Thank you both for the info......I wonder what the critical message meant? His battery was fully charged. We did do a soft reset and the message was gone.
Strange that when we tapped it, it did not tell us what it meant. <_<
