I have been running along for some time with no problems - creating docs in ms word and just copying them to my axim x5 (ppc 2003). I have ms word that came with my xp laptop - part of the microsoft works suite that comes bundled, I think.
Suddenly, out of the blue, I get an error message that says "error converting file. cannot convert file - the file may contain unexpected data. please check the contents and try conversion again."
these are mostly recipes copied and pasted into word off the net - straight text. I thought maybe at first it was a font issue - the ones I was trying to copy were done in ms comic. I changed the font to arial but go the same message. I tried copying an older file that i had been able to down before, same problem.
Suggestions? Havent' changed anything that I can see. They convert & transfer to mobipocket from word just fine. No problem copying prc files. Guess I should attach a file so someone else can try it.
