Space Bar Doesn't Work In CAPS

When I use Pocket Excel, I make all my words in Caps. The space bar works in lower case but when I use upper case the space bar does not work. I have to go back to lower case to use the space bar. Also there isn't a backspace key when in the CAP mode. Is this the nature of the beast? Or is there something that can be done to get these features to work in CAP mode?

Unclevic it appears to be the nature of the beast.
I've checked my other devices, and it does the same thing.

The backspace does disappear when the caps is activated.

Thanks for confirming that. Hopefully one day they'll have an update for the keypad. Or possibly a third party keypad. But I won't hold my breath :x

Oh man! I just read and deleted info on 3 keyboard replacements (software) for PocketPc. It was in a newletter from cnet.com I just spent about 10 minutes looking on their site for the info...sorry, couldn't find it. You might try search for third party keyboards. The three they mentioned in the newsletter were uner $25, and one of them was even free.

I downloaded the Fitaly Keyboard for may Axim. This is a great keypad! It has many features that I'll never use but there is alot that I will use. The space bar can be used in upper or lower case. I love the shortcut feature. You can program a single letter and it will enter a whole sentence if you want. The key pad is a little awkward at first but it beats the default one that comes with Pocket PC 2002. This pad saves alot of steps and I would recommend it to anyone. I tryed it and I'll buy it for the 25 bucks. It's worth it.

A tap and drag left on any key is a backspace, drag right is a space and drag down is return. To get the Shift/number symbols tap the number key and drag upwards.

Thanks for the info jetdriver. I wonder if there are any other tricks or tips for the standard keypad?
I might not purchase the Fitaly program now except for it haveing the shortcut feature.
