is there any other messenger programs for the pda that don't cost money? i.e. yahoo, icq, aim?

also is there java for the pda? that way i can view java enabled sights and if so i could also just go to toc.oscar.aol.com which is a java version of aim.

There is AIM for the Pocket PC, but it is still in beta, but you might want to try this one http://www.aim.com/get_aim/win_ce/latest_wince.adp. Apparently there is some confusion if link that I provided is a beta software or not. Install it at your own risk.
