Well personally, I would not put mt PDA on my belt, I've dropped a number of phones from this location as I've bent down, fortunately the cases they were in have prevented problems, but a PDA would not risk, also do you really want to advertise your PDA in this way ????
In the end it is your own personal choice, both machines have some good features.
I can only suggest you consider what you really want in a list of + and - for both machines.
I can comment on a few differences that you might want to consider.
The HP 6515 compared to the X51
Has a slower processor 312 Mhz versus the X51 at 624
Runs WM2003 ( not se) , the X51 runs a much newer WM5 (no se or WM5 upgrade on the hp ?)
Has a lower resolution screen
Has a smaller screen
Has an SD slot only. ( you could not have a WiFi card and access storage at the same time). Expensive SD WFi cards
Has only 55MB of user accessable memory ( X51 has 198 MB)
To be honest, the only real downsides are
1) WM2003 which is now 2 versions out of date (check to see if an upgrade is possible)
2) Memory expansion possibilities. can be expanded with an SD card, but then your expansion possibility is full, you could not for example use an SD card and WIFi card at the same time
3)SD slot only. This imposes a restriction, their is a greater range of CF cards than SD cards, plus CF cards for expansion seem generally lower in price.
but as I say, at the end the choice is yours, but however you are not comparing like with like... The correct comparison should be an X30 and the Hp6515.
