I need to purchase a Pocket PC for my job and I'm hoping that someone can help answer a question.
My company said to go buy a PDA with X specifications and then said that Toshiba and HP both make models that fit these specifications. One of the specs was that it run Pocket PC 2002 or 2003.
My questions come down to this: If all the Pocket PC's are running the same OS (Mobile 2003 SE) then is there any difference in what software will run? I am seriously looking at the Axim x30 (312 / 64, etc.). Dell has this processor and HP & Toshiba have their processors but since they are all ARM core based is there really any difference in how & what they will run? (Given equal processor speeds.) I would equate the Pocket PC to a regular PC. If it runs on a Dell it should run on an HP & Gateway, etc.. So the real difference is in the "features".
Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but I've always used a Palm so the Pocket PC is new to me.
Thanks!!
